The UND Office of International Programs submitted the winning photo in the “Encourage Gathering” category of the Exceptional UND photo contest. The above photo depicts performers at an Indian culture night, where students gathered to learn more about various world concepts. The photo recieved 57 likes.

Winners of the Exceptional UND photo contest were announced Friday. Winners were decided based on the number of Facebook likes each photo got. The photo with the most likes in each category won. Winners received a $50 gift card to the UND Bookstore.

A. UND Student Stephanie Britton won the “Enhance Quality of Life” category of the Exceptional UND photo contest. Britton’s photo of The Pride of the North march band received 52 likes on Facebook.

B. UND faculty member Sam Gereszek won the “Expand UND’s Presence” category of the contest with a photo of UND’s Army ROTC program. The photo received 207 Facebook likes.

C. UND student Emily Ramage’s photo of the UND Hockey Cheer team won in the “Facilitate Collaboration” category with 99 likes on Facebook.

D. In the “Enrich the Student Experience” category of the photo contest, Abhilasha Bhatia’s photo of a family at a culture night won with 292 Facebook likes.
